A SoYoung Love Affair
I had spotted the amazing SoYoung bags and lunch kits many time in our specialty baby stores here in Halifax, but didn't really notice them until they were tagged in Barefootblonde.com's Amber Fillerup's Instagram feed. From there, I learned about this awesome Canadian Company, and their handy, thought out and eye catching children's bags. I needed to have a set for Aubrey.After scrolling through their many different designs and colors, I decided on the grey Robot. It was not an easy decision. The bags arrived, and at once, I kicked the diaper bag to the curb and started using them as my go-tos for our day to day life. They are wipeable, adjustable, and just plain cool!Throughout the week, we use just the book bag. Packing it with Aubrey's extra clothing, specialty items and using the outside pockets for things like soothers, hats and mittens, it comes to daycare with Aubrey each day. On the weekends, we pack the lunch kit with his snacks and sippy cups, attach it to the outside of the bag (so that it doesn't take up any space but still fits on a little's back) and head out on our way. When the stroller is used, the toddlers size backpack fits perfectly, with room to spare in the basket below. The straps on the back of the lunch kit are easy to hook up over the push bar and stay still. This is the best for quickly grabbing something to keep him happy and full, because when that boy is hungry, you will know it.
