Keeping Poppy Sleeping in The ergoPouch

I've mentioned it on here before, but our house is quite drafty. We still have single pane windows in most of the rooms and at night, when the temperature drops, our furnace gets quite loud. That all means that duvets and warm PJ's are our saviors.When it comes to Poppy, she tends to be a chronic cat napper, unless she is being held or in the carrier. That means, when we start to sleep train or even me trying to get some work done around the house or on the blog while she naps, I tend to be constantly interrupted by her waking to see that I am not there. We needed to find a product that would work to keep Poppy safely warm in our drafty house, while also aiding to keep her asleep.      Rob and I then found out about the ergoPouch line of swaddles and sleeping bags. With many different levels of warmth and insulation, they can work for you depending on your season or global location. We opted for the warmest levels for Poppy as she seems to be happiest sleeping when she is bundled. A great feature on their bags is that the ergoPouch tag actually has a room thermometer attached and shows you which level of thickness your baby would need for that room. We received both the ergoCocoon and the Sleepsuit Bag. The ergoCocoon is perfect for now as Poppy is still at the stage where she loves to be swaddled. Another great thing about the ergoCocoon is that you can convert it later on or during awake hours to have arms out of the sack. We have been putting it to the test recently and Poppy never sleeps longer or deeper than when she is in the ergoCocoon.The Sleepsuit Bag is great for in a month or so when she starts to move during her waking hours. It converts from a sleeved sleep sack, to a snowsuit-like outfit with two legs. This is super great for when she wakes up and is brought downstairs before the fire is on and the house warms up. With the converting legs with just a simple zipper, she can be put into her activity gym while still staying warm.
