The end is drawing near....

I have finally reached the last 4 weeks of being pregnant. It has felt like a lifetime, especially when I think back at all I have gone through emotionally and physically through this past 9 months. Yet, to everyone else, my pregnancy has flown by. Tomorrow marks the last day of work for the next year and although I am so excited to sleep in, wear easy dresses, and relax, I am sad to leave my second family.

The past few weeks have been so busy. Good busy. Rob and I have been making the most of our time without baby together and he has been so extremely supportive and helpful. I seem to be overwhelmed a lot recently and hes been there by my side to help calm me down. I am proud to announce him starting a job he may actually love. And although it causes him to work and live 1.5 hours away from baby and I, it is a great position for our family. Plus, the weekends we are together as a family will be so much sweeter.

Shower mania has started and finished in our family. Mine was the Sunday of the long weekend and my amazing best friend Kayla (godmother to our baby) flew in for the week to be there. Its amazing the connection you have with your best friend soul mate. The feeling of having to entertain has stopped, and you are on to a level where you are just hanging out. We ate great food and caught up on the trials and tribulations of our present lives. Next time I see her will be in December when we take our first family trip to visit her and Kev (her fiance) in their new condo in Ottawa. I am so excited that I am temped to start the countdown already and there is still 5 months left.

The second shower was for my aunt, who is due with a baby girl 2 weeks before me. By then, we felt like pros when it came to showers. The food, cooked by my mom was great as per usual and my Aunt got spoiled rotten which is always a great thing to see.

Next steps for my wild life? get my last day of work over with, then relax till this little guy finally arrives.(P.S, pretty sure we know his name, great story, but you wont here that till he is here)

Rocking my new Maternity Jeans from Motherhood. Fulfilled my craving for being in style.
