Bump Date: 18 Weeks

The Wild Decoelis | Bumpdate at 18 weeksWell, we are officially what looks like it may be halfway for us through this pregnancy as I usually go early or am induced for one reason or another. And to be honest, as long as I am taking a small dose of Diclectin each day and going to bed on time, I am feeling GREAT. And, a good sign is that the baby is still growing in leaps and bounds. The bump that had disappeared over Christmas, is back with a vengeance and brought with it lots of baby flutters and a few kicks even Rob has been able to feel.I am still working out 3-4 times a week either at the gym at least 2 times a week, and when I can't make it due to weather or having kids home, I have been doing the Tone It Up Prenatal workouts on the app in their prenatal section. It actually surprised me how much muscle loss I had over the first 3 months of pregnancy. Weights that have always been easy for me are now quite hard and I have made sure not to push myself and just to get my body moving without focusing on the weight amount or even any changes in my body as they aren't happening. What I can tell you is that between this pregnancy and Poppy's, they are night and day, which I honestly think is because of working out. I am ready and willing to keep it up until our Doctor says otherwise. The Wild Decoelis | Bumpdate at 18 weeks | Centre of the universe The Wild Decoelis | Bumpdate at 18 weeks | 3rd time pregnant As for Baby and I's health, We are still waiting to hear from the Urogynecologist office for an appointment to find out the dirt on my bladder. Even though I can pee regularly, I have noticed a huge difference on how my bladder is working compared to normal so I am very eager to learn more.On top of the great news two weeks ago on our IGTV (see it here), I forgot to mention some of the bad news that we had found out in that appointment. I think I was so focused on the fact that my body corrected the incarcerated uterus on its own, that I pushed the negative out of my mind. Unfortunately, It was obvious on the ultrasound that I had a very Low-Lying placenta, meaning the placenta is blocking entry into my uterus. It looks pretty good for it to move, but If it hasn't by our 20-week ultrasound in two weeks, we will be closely watched and may result in a c-section. This is because the baby can't descend and be delivered through the placenta. I have seemed to be told with each pregnancy at one point or another that I will possibly need a c-section so fingers crossed this too will end up not happening. The Wild Decoelis | Bumpdate at 18 weeks | My centre of the uniiverseThe next time I update you it will be after our 20-week ultrasound!! That is so crazy to type. We aren't finding out the gender this time around but I will be sure to keep you informed of all the other things we will get to see and find out. xoxoxKatie-Rose &Rob
