Obsessions: Turmeric Milk
If you follow me in Instagram, you may have already realized that I have become a bit obsessed with Mckel from Nutrition Stripped. With the renewed passion I have found for working out, it only makes sense to eat healthy along with it. But with my allergies, it's hard to find great tasting recipes that inspire me to cook. That's what the instagram of Nutrition Stripped is doing for me. With her bright foods and look of freshness, I am wanting to try everything she posts. One thing I particularly was interested in trying was her Turmeric Milk. Not knowing all the great properties Turmeric had for body health, I often skipped over it in my cupboard. But, Saturday night, after seeing her post the recipe for another time, I decided to go ahead and make it. OMG, it's like chai tea......but better. It is this warm spicy drink that makes you feel snugly after a long day. Since Saturday, I have already made it again. First being regular and then on Monday I threw it in the blender to give it a latte feel and create a substitute for my morning coffee.
