How To Style Long Hair With Bangs 3 Ways
Bangs are one of those things that you take a risk with and hope to god they work out. I had cut bangs previously but hated them within days. Mind you, I had always cut them myself. This time was different. My hairdresser took them thicker than I had had in the past and professionally cut them. Now, over a month later, literally hundreds of msgs from you, and a bit of time with them, I totally love them on me. Now, mind you, morning bangs suck, they have to be styled every day, and sometimes you just don't want anything touching your face. But, in the end, they suit me and the style I've always been going for.Since getting them, one of the biggest questions that I have received from you all was asking about how to style them. When you have long hair with bangs, its easy to become less hip and more 70's hairband, 80's mom cut. Trust me, I've been there and felt that about this style. I think the number one thing to remember is that you should always blow-dry your bangs straight, no matter what style you will be doing. It's the first thing you should do when you get out of the shower. I then tend to straighten them to create that flat shininess so that they aren't so 1980's. That is honestly the first place to start, whether you are waking up in the morning or have just had a shower.Next, you should style the rest. I broke it down into 4 styles that I often do with my hair that looks great for any location and I filmed a little video of how to do each below.
