What Paint Colors We Used In our home
Living in rentals for most of my adult life, paint wasn't such a huge deal in my living area. Mind you, I did care about with the walls were but unfortunately in most units nowadays you aren't allowed to paint over them. It wasn't until we purchased our home, with it painted every colour of the rainbow, With each room being a different colour that I truly cared about how paint can make a space feel so different.
As you know, I am definitely not afraid of the whole moody paint vibes that are hitting the interior design world. We went bold and dark in our powder room renovation and I definitely love looking at rooms that have that extra moody feel to hem. In saying that, for my own home and my rooms that we live in most of the time, I really love white on walls and a neutral contrasting trim. It Allows you to really have fun with your decor in the space. It allows you to switch out your colour scheme based on the seasons, your ability to play around with fun coloured furniture and always matches a good rug.Allows you to really have fun with your decor in the space. What I have found since posting our home on our feed on Instagram is the influx of messages we get on a daily basis asking about paint colours we use in our home. I don't think I ever really knew how personal paint colour selection truly is. White for instants is such a tricky colour for most. You can get cool whites, warm whites, and neural. But, it is also something people feel so strong about when they find colours they love.
We thought it would be easy to round up all of the colours we use in our home on this blog. And as a change we will keep this post updated with the newest colours in each room. It's pretty simple as we've gone pretty streamlined with the rooms all having the same colour but it's a great place to get directed in case you had questions.
