A Weekend Of New Things
This weekend we had many firsts. One of which was Aubrey had his first solid foods. We started out with him sharing a Mum-Mum with his cousin Amelia (my sister and niece arrived for the holidays on Saturday), then mixed with some breast milk, he had his first brown rice cereal. He absolutely loved it. We actually couldn't feed it to him fast enough. Since then, he has had one helping of cereal each day and seems to be adjusting great.Another great thing that happened.....My sister Shannon got engaged to her boyfriend Brad. He proposed to her at the restaurant where they had their first date, by giving her a scrap book filled with pictures of all of their firsts. At the end, the last page asked her to marry him. Its so romantic. Now, we are trying to help her decide a date, the dress, and colors. I love planning so stay tuned for details.For an update on Aubrey's sleep training......well........Thursday he only cried 20 mins, and woke up for one feeding. Friday, Rob and I had his Christmas party for work and left Shannon to babysit. I'm unsure if he had sensed that we were not there but he woke up at 9pm and wouldn't go back to sleep in his crib after that. We then headed to my parents for the weekend and now it seems we are back to square one. Oh well. one day this will get easier.Now to clean and organize the house before we all head to my Parents until the New Year.Hope your having merry times,Katie Rose xo
