They Called It Bunny Love
Last weekend, we decided to beat the Easter weekend rush and take Aubrey to see the Easter Bunny on the second open day at the mall. Preparing ourselves for the worst, we were expecting him to have a good cry. All of our friends told us it was bound to happen, it is a huge moving plush toy, for goodness sakes. But, in the back of our heads we thought " he didn't cry for Santa, and has never cried at people". We started getting closer to our turn in line, and as Aubrey started noticing the Bunny in the Chair, he became more and more excited. I placed him onto the Easter bunny's lap and all he could do was smile and scream his excited pterodactyl noises. The picture turned out better than great and we continued on our mall adventure. On the way out we passed the Build-A-Bear workshop with another pretty pink Bunny dressed up at the doorway. Aubrey reached out for her so we brought him closer. He held her paw as he tried to speak to her in the mysterious baby language. Each time we tried to leave, he would pull her paw closer as if to say "no mommy, I want to bring her home". Finally we changed his attention with a toy and got to head home. All in all, I am pretty proud of my little guy and his easy going nature.Happy Easter Everyone!Katie Rose xo
