Aubrey's 1st Birthday Weekend
We knew that this summer was going to be a busy one but I'm not sure if I was prepared for what was in store. Aubrey turned 1 a few weeks ago and after that, life has been a bit of a blur between work, daycare, moving, and rob being away for work. Can you believe that he is 1? I say that age to many familiar faces at work as they ask how he is and how long it has been since they had seen me last (pre mat. leave). But after the 20th time that day, it still is as hard to believe as the first time. We were able to keep a helpless little baby alive and well for a whole year. Not only that, but we were about to do it in a way that has turned him into this awesome, caring, snuggly, funny boy. Rob and I survived it as well. And I must say, it has made us stronger than ever.For Aubrey's birthday celebrations, We headed to chester for the weekend, spending the days at the beach playing in the sand and water. At night, we invited just the immediate family for dinner to my parents house. Mom made a delicious dinner and everyone had a fabulous time. Aubrey received some amazing gifts. One of which was a red wagon from my parents. As soon as Rob put it together, they loved going up and down the field in it. Im pretty sure, that gift will be warn out well. Thank you everyone who helped make his first year a great one, from the newborn cuddles, to the now-a-days games. You have helped us make him who he is. Katie Rose xo
