The Future Has Begun
Yesterday was a crazy and hectic day. Nova Scotia got hit hard with a hurricane on Saturday, which meant postponing our big move to our new house until Sunday. The unfortunate part, my sister's wedding shower was on Sunday. I spent the past 2 weeks packing up the house while Rob worked and Aubrey slept. On Sunday morning, we woke up bright and early to pack the last few items, and pick up the moving truck. Then, once him and his friend Trevor began to pack up the Truck, Aubrey and I headed out to our next big event of the day. Shannon's Bridal Shower was being held in the common room of her fiance's apartment building. With lots of hands on deck and tons of pink and turquoise decor (Shannon's favorite colors) We had the room transformed. Both families had a great time meeting and tons of eating was done. Aubrey had both his cousins there to play with and having not really napped that day, he was running laps around them. It was an Awesome but stressful time, wanting everything to be perfect for her. Once it was all said and done and cleaned up, we headed to our new place expecting everything to be in the right rooms (thanks to my labeling) and easy for me to start unpacking. I get there, open the door, and almost pass out. The whole downstairs was packed with boxes and furniture EVERYWHERE! I couldn't even find a place to start. Rob calmed me down like he always does and got himself and Trevor back to work taking things to their proper rooms as I organized and created piles for them for each room. Those boys sure did work their little tushes of for me. By 10 pm, Trevor had left, Aubrey was finally asleep in his new room, and the house was starting to look like a home. We both love this place so much.Katie Rose xoPs. The photos in this post are from a few weeks ago. We were given a second hand Little Tikes car and both Aubrey and Amelia are fascinated by it. This just chronicles those two and their relationship with each other. Only 12 and 16 months old and already constantly picking on each other. I kind of love it and I love that they are becoming best friends.
