I have a large array of Bloggers bookmarked on my task bar. One of my favorites is Sydney at The Daybook Blog. She is a mother of one and is actually who inspired me to start blogging. I read this post of hers the other day and and I love the idea. Thanks so much for keeping it interesting Sydney.
Making : snacks for Rob and Aubrey
Cooking : Sugar cookies. Its tradition to have them at christmas
Drinking : decaf coffee with egg nogg, very festive I'd say
Reading : All my favourite christmas children's books. Reading them to Aubrey and reminiscing
Wanting : to give everyone their gifts now. I suck at waiting to surprise people.
Looking: forward to having my entire family under one roof finally
Playing: with Aubrey on the floor in my mom's living room. She has what he thinks are the best toys.
Wasting: time before Aubrey finally thinks he's ready for a good nap
Sewing: Anything and everything fur. Just made a clutch, stay tuned
Wishing: for a white christmas and that everyone loves my gifts
Enjoying: holding Rob's hand when there is all my family's chaos around me. He always assures me that everything is alright.
Waiting: to sit down for our first family dinner with my Granddad in the past 3 years. he just arrived from Vancouver and I miss him.
Liking: All of the photos of christmas moments that people are sharing on instagram
Wondering: how christmas morning is going to be with both babies around.
Loving: watching Aubrey's mind work. you can see him learning with every movement he makes
Hoping: that I'm a good mom. Some days when I've dragged him around town an he's not napping like all the books say, I doubt myself
Marveling: at how emotional I have become since having Aubrey. Even the shortest commercials revolving around babies or family can bring me to tears
Needing: to shower this self tanner off my skin so that I look like i am sun kissed, not from the Jersey Shore
Smelling: Rob's spice bomb cologne. mmmmmmmmmmmm……….
Wearing: Leather pants and a denim button down.
Following: all the bloggers I love and trying to get ideas
Noticing: the small things my Mom does all the time to make our lives that much easier
Knowing: I have way too much wrapping to still have to do
Thinking: about tonight and if Aubrey will sleep in his crib here as well as he did in his own one last night
Feeling: Loved. its something that I need to remind myself of to keep beating depressions butt!
Bookmarking: things for Aubrey now that he's starting to eat
Opening: the Holiday BCBG catalogue…..oh if money only grew on trees….
Giggling: at Rob and Aubrey playing rough on the floor. That child is going to be a daredevil
