Cookies and Icicles
Well the weather outside was frightful….With an Ice storm hitting us outside, my family huddled in my parents warm house and prepared for Christmas. One tradition that I always make are sugar cookies for Santa. As I became older, they were mostly for my dad. While the babies were tucked up in their warm cribs fast asleep last night, I whipped up a small batch (forgot to double the recipe) before Rob and I headed to bed ourselves. Before I went to bed, I made sure to write a note to that tall mouse who sneaks into sweets while everyone is asleep, DO NOT TOUCH!Aubrey's sleep training is on a stand still for the moment while we are at my parents. He seems to think that the crib here is only good until we come to bed, then, our bed looks much more comfortable. But on the plus side, its amazing to watch him as he studies everything that his cousin Amelia does. She is 4 months older than him and he wants to do everything she is doing. Each day they spend together, the more he learns. It really is an amazing thing to be able to literally see your baby's mind grow and expand. It makes my love for him even stronger (if thats at all possible)Merry Christmas Eve Everyone,Katie Rose xo
