Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow, this weekend made me so aware of how thankful I am. I have such an amazing family and am happy that this weekend was spent with all of them. My oldest sister Hollie and her family flew in on Friday. Amelia is 4 months older than Aubrey and has changed so much since we last saw her.
On Saturday, Rob and I woke up super early and drove to Annapolis Valley. I was taking part in my first competitive run since baby, but I'll save that for a separate post.  After the run, we went on a bit of a Winery tour. I had never been to one before. Nova Scotia's soil is the closest to Champagne, France in the world. Because of this, the wineries are popping up everywhere. Our wines are called 'tidal bay', similar to port from Portugal and Champagne from France. Our first stop was at Gaspereau Winery. We tasted tons of wines and learned a lot. We, then, ventured to Lucketts Vineyards. It is a newer winery with an outdoor restaurant. We ate lunch there. I don't think I have ever been so cold , but the food was so good, that I didn't mind. By the time we were done, all we wanted was a warm car and to be back home to Chester at my parents Surounded by the smell of turkey in the oven.
With 3 babies under the age of 7 months, plus a 8 year old, our house was buzzing at dinner. It was extremely entertaining. By 9:30pm we were ready for bed and thanksgiving had come to an end. I hope yours was just as filled with love from family and friends as ours.

                                      Happy Thanksgiving,
