A Flower Crown Girls Night
Last Tuesday, I had the privilege of attending one of my good friend Nicole of Oh Dina's Flower Crown Workshops. I have only been out for a girls night maybe 2-3 times since Aubrey was born so this was much needed for my mental sanity. It was a great night. I walked into Nicole's amazing new loft and right away my eyes went to the gorgeous spread of flowers along the middle of the tables. On the walls, there were strings of pretty paper banners, and to the side, a table with goodies and Sangria. Once everyone arrived, we sat down and got to work. It took about an hour of crafting to finish my crown and then an hour to socialize with some of the other fabulous lades at the workshop like Nicole Lapierre, and DeeDee Morris who are beautiful photographers here in Halifax, as well as Nicole Trask, a fellow blogger, and a writer. I loved getting out of my element and meeting new people. Once home I arrived to 2 cranky boys, Aubrey had only just finally Fallen asleep and Rob was food deprived from handling Aubrey. But, that Crown and new friends were worth it.Katie Rose xo
