Gone are the days of hiding your bump when your pregnant. Looking back at old photos, Women tended to cover themselves up as though they were almost ashamed of having a growing belly, or that it was to scandalous to let it shine. Instead, they opted to wear big MuuMuus that resembled more of a paper bag than a piece of clothing. But, with the turn of society allowing for sex to sell and bum baring shorts in public, we women are finally allowed to embrace the bump. Now, don't get me wrong, I love myself a good flowy dress from time to time. But, this is really the only time in a woman's life that you can wear a figure hugging body con dress without worrying what you eat. I have been fully embracing this trend since the bump was announced and with spring on the way, I don't see it stopping anytime soon.
My go to of them all? the sweater dress. It is as comfortable as your winter nighty, yet fashionable enough to go out in public in. Being able to dress it up with heels when you are finally feeling well enough to have a date out, or dressing down with converse, the sweater dress is a win-win.
