A Stress Free Move
As you all know, especially you working moms out there, extra moments spent with your little one, even if they are hard, are the best gift. So, even though I was pregnant and starting a new job all while trying to move to our new house, I decided to take Aubrey out of daycare so that he could come with me for those extra moments throughout the day. And, to get him used to the new house. But by doing that, each days work seemed to take that much longer. By the time it came to finish off the last of the moving and the dreaded cleaning of the house, I was at a loss. There was no joy left in the thought of the country side, and everything Aubrey did that deterred me from getting something accomplished made me that much closer to losing my mind. All I wanted was a stress free move. Rob tried to help. But, as a shift worker in a job that is very physical, he was so drained after a shift, that I couldn't allow him to even think about it. Besides, he was working his butt off in his spare time at the new house getting it painted and feeling more like us. So, we ran into a problem. We had a week left of the old place (which is a ton of time as you fellow renters know) I was 20 weeks pregnant and shouldn't be lifting anything and definitly shouldn't be around strong cleaners that you would need to get the house ready for the next tenants. The only thing we could think of to solve our problem was to hire professional cleaners for the first time in our lives.Maritime Cleaners were advertising on Instagram, and as I am on there so often, I recalled their name quickly when we were trying to figure out who is best to use. Thank goodness we did. They booked me in last minute for a whole house clean...and I mean whole house....fridge, shelves, stove, washrooms..you name it. It came time to let the ladies into the FINALLY empty house, and they were such a pleasure to meet. I am not going to lie, strangers in my home, even with nothing in it, gives me a chill, but I bonded with these ladies instantly and they didn't even blink at the mess we had left them. While they were busy doing their magic in there, I decided to take Aubrey for a date to celebrate the move and get rid of all those stressful moments over the past few weeks with him home. The best thing, my landlord said it was the first time the unit had been cleaner at check out than check in. SCORE!So all you busy people, stressing about cleaning your house, These are the people to call. And because I wanted to share my experience of a stress free move with you guys so much, I got them to create a coupon code for you to test them out as well.
