Our Beach Getaway: Part 2 (An Afternoon In The Sun)
My Look: Bikini-Victoria's Secret, Shorts-H&M, A Necklace- Winners, Flower Crown- Made at OH DINA workshop, Glitter Tattoos- Balsam and VineAnd Part 2 commences. We got back to Rob's mothers house, ate lunch, and began settling Aubrey down for a nap. Was that his idea as well? no such luck. All of my usual tricks to have him nap so that Rob and I could have a bit more time of the beach wasn't working. As a last resort, Ruth was going to take him for a walk. Perfect! he'll for sure be out 10 mins into it (we found out later that was a different story).We jumped into the car and headed back to the beach. with Caesars in hand, and a near empty beach, we found a quiet little spot close to where the water meets a lake. It was gorgeous. We laid there relaxing, not saying a word, but enjoying the fact that we were next to each other and not focusing on a little boy getting into trouble. Our drinks were drank, swimming was had, and the time was going fast. We headed back to find Aubrey un-napped, and Nana wanting to start a delicious Seafood feast.
