Its hard to find clothing that is in trend and made for a big ol’ bump like mine. Something about maternity screams over priced, outdated style. As I’m sure you fashion lovers have figured out, Off-the-shoulder is the new ‘erotic’ zone for this season. So far, the biggest trends with it are cropped dress shirts and unless you are Chrissy Teigen, there’s a slim chance you can pull that off for the next few months as the Sun starts warming up our cold country. So, when I spotted this dress on the PinkBlush Maternity site, it was best of both worlds. I have always loved my shoulders and while everything else is growing with this pregnancy, my shoulders look the same. Throwing this dress on as Rob and I headed to the beach to enjoy the sun and 20 degree weather in March, made me feel confident and beautiful. It’s funny how an item of clothing can have such an impact on the way you feel. Just being able to show off a piece of my body I’m proud of, and feel womanly again, made all of the difference in my mood for the rest of the day. The loose flow of the dress and wind blowing around us almost even made me forget for a second that I was pregnant.

I love pairing my brown leather jacket from Danier Leather with just about anything! Although i can’t get it zipped up any longer it makes me feel the opposite of the “mom” look and gives me back a little bit of my edgy style I can’t exapress as often right now 🙂
