Life lately has been hectically boring if that is possible. I am almost 39 weeks pregnant and have been on mat leave for almost 4 weeks. They have flown by yet during the time of them passing, it has felt like it has drug on. My days have been filled with appointments, moving and family.
We decided to go with this new company here in Nova Scotia called Pods to move and store my things until August while I stay at my parents with the newborn. It is the coolest thing I have seen. Just the machine that dropped it off was interesting enough to watch, but all I have to do is call to get them to pick it up and take it away to store for me for the month of July and then call again when I want them to drop it back off at my new address. Highly recommended if you are moving to look into such an easy solution.
With all this moving and the time growing closer to baby getting here, Rob has been staying as close as possible to my side (such a loving daddy already). On top of this, nesting has kicked in, which means cooking on my end. I tried a yummy Salmon Quinoa Cake recipe for us for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. You can find the recipe here http://www.thepulpkitchen.com/?p=5076615201 . Definitely a must try. Rob really enjoys hot smoked salmon, so to get that flavor, I added half regular cooked and half smoked to the cakes.
The updates will continue as the baby waiting game comes to an end, I promise.
