Our Family Weekend With Ford Canada: Part 1
This past weekend as you know, was Family Day weekend ending in a holiday Monday. We were given a Ford Flex from Ford Canada to cruise in for the weekend and test out. Rob is in need of a new vehicle and knowing how much we love our big truck, we liked to see what was out there. I was super surprised about how much I liked the Flex. Growing up, we were a Chevy and Dodge family. But, Ford has totally stepped up its game. From the sleek look on the outside to the roominess on the inside, we loved everything about it. Everything was so easy and automatic with just touches of buttons. With one touch, you could pop up a third row with a good enough trunk space for a Costco run. Our favorite feature out of all was the amazing sensors. When on cruise control it can sense a vehicle ahead and slows down when you change lanes to pass, it will speed back up. It lets you know when cars or items are near and the backup camera is A+. All in all, we were presently surprised with how great of a vehicle it was and definitely would recommend it. We decided to take the truck for a family trip to Lahave on Saturday. It is about a 45 minute drive from our house and has the yummiest bakery on the Lahave River's edge. We grabbed a lunch and headed for a beach near by that allows you to drive on it thinking it would be great for a family picnic, but with all of our snow, we were unable to get on it so opted to eat in the car.on ou On our way back through, we stopped once more at Lahave Bakery to stretch our legs and Aubrey loved playing in the plowed up snow piles. PS. the kids were rocking their PediPed boots which are our new favorite kids show brand. From little winter boots for Poppy, to sneakers and boots which grow with your children's feet for our fast growing Aubrey, the rock. These boots, for instance, grow 1/2 shoe size just by removing the extra insole so that you don't have to buy a new pair of shoes every month. AMAZING right? We had such a great day out as a family and it was only day one of a three-day weekend. Thank you to Ford Canada for giving us a reason to get out together and do something fun as a family.
