How To Make Cheesecloth Ghosts!
I love a good holiday craft! Just call me Martha Stewart, but the homemade crafts just feel better in our home. The bring back the 90’s nostalgia of my childhood. I feel this so strong to my core that prior to any holiday, I head to marthastewart.tv and binge watch all of her old episodes of crafts.
Speaking of that, last year, I found a photo from Lauren Conrad on Pinterest, showcasing, cheesecloth ghosts, and I was like, I need to make those. At the time all I could find is your regular grocery store cheese cloth so I made them with those. Still had an amazing feel to them, but just not the same vibe as buttery, warm, classy ghosts, that I was waiting on our mantle. So, mid October I ordered organic cheese cloth from Amazon and planned to make more. I ran out of time and soon was having to start decorating for Christmas working with Brands, so here I am a year later getting around to it.
Yesterday, as I was adding the eyes onto the ghosts for my YouTube channel, I also had Martha Stewart playing one of her episodes from 1999 for the Halloween special. SHE WAS MAKING THESE GHOSTS! How cool is that? 25 years later and crafts that were great to do back then are still so very relevant.
I have a link to the YouTube of exactly how to do these awesome ghosts below. And I've also put a list of all of the supplies you will need to make them. They literally take 10 mins to make and 24 hours to cure. After the video I ended up removing the star foam balls very carefully and Have placed twinkle lights inside the ghosts which make the perfect fun sparkle for night time.
Will you be making these?
