My Trip To Toronto With Pampers

With Rosebuds: Trip to toronto to launch the new Pampers Baby Dry DiapersIt has been a crazy busy 2 weeks in the Decoeli house which all started with a 24 hour trip to Toronto last week with Pampers. I was invited on the trip by the fabulous ladies at Pampers to announce to my fellow Pampers Baby Panel members and I, the newly redesigned Baby dry diaper. The event was held at the newly opened Figo Toronto which was so gorgeous, my jaw dropped to the ground and loved how Pampers thought of everything with their design to take over the space. Once we all arrived we were invited to take part in a breakfast version of cocktail hour with a yummy buffet full of everything from Salad to breakfast pizza. I got to touch base with many moms from across Canada and also met some ladies that I have been emailing with for what feels like forever. With Rosebuds: Trip to toronto to launch the new Pampers Baby Dry Diapers With Rosebuds: Trip to toronto to launch the new Pampers Baby Dry DiapersAfter everyone settled and had a bite to eat, we got down to business. Pampers flew in one of their heads of development. She introduced herself and her background. I had not realized the amount of science that went into making a diaper. This Woman was a chemical engineer who decided to use her smarts on helping us parents, instead of developing nuclear reactors. She explained the many parts that make up a diaper (did you know there were 50?) and also what makes Pampers so different compared to the competition. Here is how they demonstrated it to us not so science minded people. Disposable diapers have always been made out of a cotton swab like material. But this creates a lot of bulk, so as the years have passed, they started to mix the cotton like material with gel beads that also suck up water. In fact, the gel beads, suck up more water than the cotton like material, take up less space, and keep moisture in allowing your baby to not feel as wet on their own skin. What Pampers has done with Baby Dry Diapers to give them a comfortable low profile but still last through the night, is take out the cotton like material all together and just use gel beads. With Rosebuds: Trip to toronto to launch the new Pampers Baby Dry Diapers With Rosebuds: Trip to toronto to launch the new Pampers Baby Dry DiapersBut, that only solves one problem. They then take those new diapers after making sure they were safe on a babies skin, and try them out in the "daycare" like facility in the office. From the fit to how they move with the babies, they watch for everything. What they found was that, they needed to develop a chamber like structure to hold the gel beads in place so that the diapers doesn't lump up when wet and on the move. So combining all of that knowledge, they put it into their newly redesigned Baby Dry diapers. With Rosebuds: Trip to toronto to launch the new Pampers Baby Dry DiapersThey then brought in a child sleep specialist. Pampers is solving the issue of babies waking because of a wet diaper with their new technology, but we needed to know how to get them to sleep easier. There were a few big tips that many of us already know in the back of our heads. Limit screen time before bed, avoid bright light especially yellow and white in the bedroom, use blackout curtains so kids will sleep longer, and above all, parents need to take time for themselves each day to destress so that they can calmly handle any situation. We right away changed a few habits of Aubrey's and it has been working like a charm. What's next for Pampers? Tune in on my social channels closer to June 22nd because I have a big surprise for you!Thank you Pampers for such a lovely trip and for always being so reliable of a product for my kids.Love my outfit?
