Switching Things Up

image Today I put my beloved gym membership on hold. Rob and I had discussed me doing this for weeks now. He has been without a membership for months and was wanting to start investing in home equipment, and I was making it less and less to the gym.  Aubrey sleeps in later and that causes his naps to be later and for some reason last longer. This means the 3 hour window that's the daycare is open is slim. I'd have to choose to bring a non-napped Aubrey, or rush through a workout and it not be worth it. With the weather getting nicer, and the bluenose 10km race coming up fast, I decided today was the day to quit the stress of the gym. We found a great set of weights on kijiji for less than a month membership and have begun to create a home gym in our basement.Today I also signed up for the above link. I had discovered these 2 girls on Pinterest a few months back and loved their concept. Each week, they send you a workout plan, videos, and a nutrition plan. They have a huge following, who are a great supportive community to keep you going. This series launching on Monday, is based on getting you in bikini shape by June 21 and is based on doing it with a girlfriend of yours. I have chose my friend Lauren, whom you've met in many posts.
