The cure for my hankering....

With all this hanging out at home, I get to spend more time than I have since Aubrey in the kitchen. I love that! I forgot how much I love trying new things and creating recipes. One thing I get a major craving for is Pizza. But unfortunately, I am a girl with an allergy to yeast (baker and brewers) and to milk. This means pizza is a huge no no. Until now! I have been hearing about cauliflower crust for a while now, but most recipes are made with tons of cheese. I decided to research a little more when the craving got too strong after watching my sister eat a slice. I found a great recipe for a cheeseless cauliflower crust. I decided to test it the other night for dinner. It's an easy, but a bit lengthy process. You make it and then bake it, take it out, add toppings, then broil. Perfect, I did that and it looked delicious. But, what about the cheese on top you ask? Well now. Sobeys carries a lactose free cheese, and it tastes like CHEESE! So I placed that along with some goat cheese on top. It was actually quite good. It tasted nothing like the fluffy bread dough of a usual pizza, but just enough to cure my craving. I would definitly try it again and not even feel guilty after. You can find the recipe at www.theluckypennyblog.com and test it for yourselves.

                                           Sincerely,
                                                      Katie Rose xo
