As you all probably know by now, I love to shop online. I’m sure many of you feel the same way. It just makes sense for where we live because we don’t want to travel outside of our village too often.
With the holidays fast approaching, we are the type of family who slowly starts picking away at those gifts for our kids as soon as we reach October on the calendar. Picking up meaningful gifts in a slow and steady pace leaves less stress on our family during the holiday season. It allows us to make sure each item is thought over and is exactly what the person wants and needs. We actually use a rule of thumb when it comes to Christmas presents for our family, something they want, something they need, something to wear, and something to read. As much as I love the online shopping experience, with budgets in mind we aren’t a family full of materialistic items. This rule of thumb makes sure we don’t overspend during the holiday season, and each gift will be used to its highest potential.
In saying all of that, I also love a good reward program. My wallet is full of points cards from shops that I don’t often frequent. It’s the rewards that always get me. It makes things seem like such a great deal and it’s always good to have on hand.
When it comes to my MasterCard I want something that will not only allow me to shop everywhere but also earn rewards without having to deal with a wallet full of cards. I started hearing about Neo Financial and had to jump on board.
There were many things that sold me on the card, one of which was the fact that it was all digital so I could apply for it in the comfort of my own home in only 4 minutes. When it comes to a rewards card like this, they usually have heavy fees. Neo Financial offers a MasterCard with no fees, but all of the rewards you want from your favourite retailers.
What really sold me was that the rewards aren’t just points that you have to earn over a large period of time, to maybe one day use for a new blender or a trip. Instead, this program is all about cash back. On average, it gives you between 4 and 6% cash back instantly from your purchases made using the card. That means, when I use it to purchase most of my Christmas shopping for our family, I will have enough rewards in cash back to get myself something under the tree from Santa. Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this.
Heading into the holiday season, we have added our Neo Financial MasterCard to our Apple wallets, with a budget in mind and the excitement of knowing we have cash back rewards with each purchase.
