Top 5 April Beauty Favorites
As bloggers, we are super fortunate to be sent boxes and boxes of PR samples each month. We love testing them all out between Rob and I and usually share them on our Instagram stories. But, after planning out our content calendar for may, we realized that once we open them, not always do we give you an update on what we are loving and actually using in our day to day. We thought the perfect way to rectify this and give you a quick rundown on what we think, we are launching a new series to the blog and Youtube channel go the Out Top 5 Beauty favorites each month.[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q58lWkvHKJk[/embedyt]
Bioderma Hydrabio H20:
This is a great Micelle Water and actually the first to not cause any breakout on my face. You do need to saturate your cotton pad well, but with it soaked, it gets all of my makeup of gently and easily. It is made to be used without water, but I like to finish it off with a splash of water to my face before drying off and applying my toner.
Fresh Beauty Black Tea Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence:
Rob and I are HUGE Fresh beauty fans. All of their products are gentle on the skin, yet do what they say that they do. Plus with a great price point that many people can afford. This is apart of a new black tea line for anti-aging they have recently released and we love it. we use it between our toner and serums, applying to our face and necks with our fingertips. Since using it, I have noticed a difference in my pores, fine lines and the overall tone of my skin.
Biotherm Blue Therapy Red Algae Uplift Cure:
We just received this in a pr package last week and immediately added to our routine. They say that using it for 28 days in both the morning and night, you will notice a huge difference in your aging skin. I am totally up for the challenge and so far have started to see my skin begin to smooth, mostly on my forehead. I will update you next month once the 28 days have passed.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour wand:
Ok, so this is not my favorite product vs. the powder one below, but because I mentioned it in the video above, I wanted to link it in here in case you are looking for a liquid contour.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Highlighter wand:
If you want that sultry, dewy look, then this is it. This highlight wand is the bee's knees when it comes to giving you a dewy glow and I can see myself using this a lot this summer when I have more of a tan and wear less foundation.
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Pallete:
The BEST contour palette I have tried. And, I mean, she is one of the top makeup artists in the world so that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. The bronzer is such an awesome color that looked good on my skin both as a brunette and now as a redhead. I also love using both the bronzer and the highlighter on my eyes for an everyday smoky look.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish:
Now, I had never really used/liked any finishing powders that I have tried in the past. I find them overly drying and show my wrinkles more than I care to. But, this powder is silky smooth, lasts forever and is as dry as the others I have tried. I specifically use this under my eyes to stop my mascara from transferring. It keeps my eyes looking fresh for the whole day, which usually starts at 7 am until 11 pm so that's saying a lot.
