Chester Race Week has been and left. It is a 4 day race held for many different types of Sail boats in my home town harbour and people come from all over the world to partake. Growing up, It was a fun place to catch up with those who moved for school or with their families each year. We always said "You don't come home for Christmas, You come home for Raceweek". Unfortunately as we all age and start families, busy careers, or just move to far away, the people we know dwindle and are replaced with people who just come for the crazy parties and amazing reggae cover bands. But, the week still brings my family together and the days spent last week were the best. Even yesterday, as the weekend ended, Aubrey and Amelia ran around the table chasing each other and laughing historically. That sound is worth the late nights with my family, early mornings with Aubrey and Zeus and busy days in between it all. See you in 2016 Raceweek!
