New Year, New Hair
About 7 years ago, after a bad breakup of a longtime relationship, I decided to follow in Victoria Beckham's footsteps and chop off my long hair into an inverted bob. The love for it lasted a good week and then the tears came. Since then, I have been trying to grow my hair out as long as I can. But, with many different dye jobs, and the after pregnancy hair loss, it was looking pretty rough. I needed to do something. I was hating the look of it, and having it dyed darker was not enough. I booked an appointment with my hair dresser and told her my issues with boredom and hating the look of it. After a 5-10 min pep talk, she convinced me to trust her and that I would lose a lot of length. I just kept seeing the hair fall more and more in large long chunks. But, with 4-5 inches gone and styled to perfection, I finally saw the big reveal and LOVED IT! For the first time in history, I'm loving my hair shorter. It feels amazing and is so healthy. The bonus? I can grow it out from here for a more fuller look. Thanks Sherri from Spirit Spa. Your really did save me on this one. Thank goodness that it wasn't a mom cut.Katie Rose xo
