Settling In
My Look: Dress, Boots, Bag, Watch, Blanket, Sleeper
Tomorrow marks two weeks of being a mother of two. So far it has been pretty easy and I am slowly settling in. Rob has been off work to help out, and Aubrey has been kept occupied with cousins and sleepovers at his Nana's house. But, today is the first day of real life with two bambinos. Rob worked his normal early morning shift, and I was in charge of getting Aubrey ready for daycare while clusterfeeding Poppy. It went smoother than expected, besides the meltdown that he didn't want to go back to daycare. But, this is only day one. I am confident that slowly, we will get into a great morning routine. Thank goodness for independent children.Tomorrow, I will have the daunting task of putting Aubrey to bed with both kids. Up until now, Rob has been a gem by putting him to bed and sleeping with him each night. This allowed me to not stress about Poppy or I waking him up in the middle of the night or him trying to sleep with us. Poppy unfortunately won't sleep in a bassinet for longer than 20 mins so I have had her co-sleeping in bed with me. Adding Rob and Aubrey both into a queen size bed would equal a disaster. So, wish me luck as I tackle this deeming task.As for this Diaper bag above, how amazing is that?!Knowing that I will be stuck using a diaper bag again for the next year or more, I was struggling to accept it. But then I found this Newlie Bag. The Faux leather is so soft and inside you will find the most organized bag with tons of pockets. And the winning feature....It looks like a fashionable purse. Gone are the days of the vinyl Winnie the Pooh diaper bags, and now we have amazing companies like this to keep us moms stylish.Cheers to week 3!
