When I was pregnant with Aubrey, I was working in an office environment full time and searched for affordable work appropriate pieces that I could move in. Unfortunately, I lost my style in there somewhere. Working from home with this pregnancy has been a lot different. If I am not running around with appointments, I am perched at the computer for hours at a time. Comfort is still a huge quality I look for, but I also and trying to have more fun with my style and try new things. Because comfort during pregnancy is such a wanted feature, no matter if your a stay at home mom or running around in heels to the office, Leggings are the perfect match for it all. Yeah, yeah, they aren't pants....I 100% agree. But with the Kendall Jenners of the world making them more fashionably acceptable to attempt to be pants, I'm growing to love the idea. When your belly starts to outgrow your clothing and everything feels uncomfortable, I'd rather reach for a pair of leggings than a Muumuu. The secrets to successfully pulling them off is in the way you style them. I put together 3 looks above featuring my Favourite B.D.A Leggings by Belly Bandit on how you can style them for a day that fits your life. There are a few helpful tips that carry throughout these looks. I put them in point form so that you Momma-to-be's can pull this off with items from your own closet.

  1. Make sure leggings are NOT sheer...the bend over test works like a charm.
  2. Always wear your top so that it covers your front area and your rear. The least amount of camel toe in this world, the better.
  3. Throw on some fun jewelry. Its really the only thing you can invest in now that you will wear for the rest of your life.
  4. Fun shoes are a MUST. sometimes, the shoe can make or break the outfit. Pick a shoe that suits you and the look. I.e. heels with a dress shirt, and sneakers with a hoodie.
